Born in Heidelberg, Germany, he moved to Redmond, Washington, at the age of five. From an early age, soccer became a key aspect of his life. He played for Crossfire Premier during his youth and later transitioned into non-league play for Worcester City during university. His fascination with the coaching side of the game led him to pursue a university education in coaching. He earned a 1st Class Honors in Sports Development and Coaching from Staffordshire University. His coaching philosophy revolves around creating game-related, fun, and learning-intensive environments.

On a personal note, he shares his home with his two dogs, Monty and Lizzie. When he's not on the field, you'll often find him engaged in various sports like volleyball, soccer, and football or spending time with friends. He also has a keen interest in cars and is a devoted Liverpool supporter.
