Birthplace

I was born and raised in Tulsa, OK, where I started playing soccer at the age of four.  I went on to play competitively as a striker for my club, West Side Alliance Soccer Club. In 1992, our boy's team helped lay the foundation of what Westside Alliance Club is today, expanding the club's footprint across multiple divisions throughout the state.  Several accomplishments that I achieved as a player ranged from being selected for the Oklahoma ODP team in ’92, a 4-year letterman in high school, where we went on to advance to the state semi-finals in ’94, All-District in ’94-’96 and being selected for the Oklahoma East All-State team in ’97.  After graduating from Charles Page High School.  I went on to attend The University of Oklahoma, where I graduated with a Business major in 2002.

I still play soccer today, mostly coed, and just enjoy being out on the field playing with other passionate folks who love the game as much as I do. I have been fortunate enough to coach several boys and girls teams during my time on the pitch.  I love being able to help develop and get the most out of each player while being able to bring all of those key elements together and apply them in a team setting, so each player can value the work and dedication it takes to accomplish their individual and team goals.

My goal as a coach is to create a fun, exciting, team-oriented environment for players who have a passion for learning and developing to become the best version of themselves that represent the EFC and the standards they uphold.

My passion for coaching stems from my time as a player and all that I have attained from my time on the field, lessons from past coaches and mentors, and being able to share my knowledge with future players who have that same love for the game as I do inspires me to want to serve others through this great game while cultivating friendships and empowering ambitious dreams.

I’m extremely blessed to have been married for twelve years now with two beautiful children, one of whom currently plays for Eastside FC. My other plays hockey.  Being a parent and watching my kids grow and develop is something I absolutely love.  When I'm not with the family, I am typically out running as I train for the World Marathon Majors.  One of my other favorite pastimes is college football.  I am a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan!
