Omak, WA
Birthplace
Cary grew up in Omak, WA where he played competitively and captained his team from ages 7 through 17. He was lucky enough to have a soccer coach who grew up in England and played at a high level in the US and a wrestling coach who was involved with the US Olympic Team. In college, Cary focused on wrestling since it was his scholarship sport but trained with the soccer team during the preseason.
Cary coaches because he enjoys helping young athletes develop. He's a big believer in Eastside FC's mission of Building Champions in Life. All the things that make a great soccer player (e.g. excellence, focus, effort) come from developing habits that extend beyond the pitch.
Cary has a USSF C and NSCAA National license.
Cary and his wife, Heather, are Eastside FC parents. Their twin girls (2004’s) came through the program and their son is a 2008 who plays at Eastside FC.
